Wednesday August 17 at 8:57 pm Changsha time

I just sent a post but I don't think that the 3 pictures showed up even though the blog site said that they were. So, I tried attaching just 2 of them and here they are. (By the way, I've heard that I need to somehow reduce the file size of these pictures by changing the resolution, which will then make it easier to upload the pictures. I've been trying but so far I haven't been able to do that. Hopefully soon . . . )

Gord, you will not be able to change the resolution on the computer unless you have a image editing program like PhotoShop. You can change your camera settings, but then the picture will not print out as nicely.
I hope all is going well, thanks for the updates.
Look forward to seeing you all.

Gord and Sue,

I'm enjoying your journey, reliving mine of six years ago. It sounds like you're at the Dolton (unless they all have bowling alleys now!)

Your photos are fine, they actually show up on the blog as fairly small files. If you copy your photos onto a computer with Win XP you may be able to use a freeware program to resize them. A very small simple one is Irfanview. http://www.irfanview.com

Unless you have a memory availability situation shoot in the highest quality and size possible. This allows for cropping and nice prints later! With your beautiful family you'll surely want lots of prints!

We'll keep up with your adventures and send our best wished for good healthy and successful completion of your journey.
